The first matches of the second round of the Volleyball Spartakiad between the men’s national teams of the Russian Federation took place.
The team from St. Petersburg won the team from the Leningrad region. The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with the score 3:0 (25:16, 25:15, 25:22).
In another match, the team from the Novosibirsk region proved to be stronger than the representatives of the Belgorod region — 3:2 (25:22, 25:22, 20:25, 15:25, 16: 14). The match took place in Odintsovo.
The Moscow team had no problems with the KhMAO-Yugra team — 3:0 (25:18, 25:19, 25:16). The meeting took place in the capital.
The national team of the Republic of Tatarstan defeated the team of the Kemerovo region – 3:0 (25:15, 25:21, 25:18). This match was played in Odintsovo.
After four games, the first place is occupied by representatives of Tatarstan with 12 points, the second place is occupied by the Novosibirsk region (11). Saint-Petersburg and Moscow each have 6 points, they share 3rd and 4th places.
The final and third-place match are scheduled for August 21 in Moscow. The first two teams in the group tournament will meet in the final, and the 3rd and 4th teams will face each other in the match for the bronze medals.
