Nadal lost to Van de Zandshulp in the 2024 Davis Cup quarterfinals

The legendary Spaniard played for the national team before retiring from his playing career.

Former world number one Rafael Nadal lost Botik van de Zandschulp in the quarterfinal match Davis Cup 2024 between Spain And the Netherlands.

In the first set, the tennis players took their own serves until the Spaniard made a mistake in the ninth game. In the second game Van de Zandshulp led with two breaks. Nadal managed to win back one serve, but the legendary Spaniard was not enough to do more.

Let us remind you that in October Rafael announced his retirement from his playing career. The Davis Cup final will be his last tournament.

The Netherlands opened the scoring in the quarter-final clash with Spain. Next up on the court in Malaga will be Carlos Alcaraz and Tallon Grixpor.
