Greek Miltiadis Tentoglou and Italian Marcell Jacobs won gold medals at the European Athletics Championships in Munich.
The 2020 Olympic champion Tentoglou won the long jump competition. His result is 8 meters 52 centimeters. His compatriot Antigoni Drisbioti won gold in the 35 km walk.
Tokyo Games champion Marcell Jacobs of Italy won the 100m with a time of 9.95 seconds.
Spaniard Miguel Angel Lopez won the men’s 35 km walk. German Niklas Kaul won the decathlon tournament, while Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen won the 5000m.
Croatian Sandra Perkovic has won the discus throw at the European Championships for the sixth time. She showed the result – 67 meters 95 centimeters.
In the women’s 100-meter race, the winner was determined by photo-finish, it was Germany’s Gina Luckenkemper – 10.984 seconds.
