World Aquatics updated the rules for neutral status, the Russian Championship can be a qualifying tournament

World Aquatics has updated the rules for admitting Russian athletes in neutral status to competitions under its auspices.

The new edition of the regulations is dated November 18.

The updated document does not indicate compliance with the standards for participation in major competitions exclusively outside Russia and Belarus.

Thus, the Russian Short Course Championship, which will begin in St. Petersburg on November 21, may have qualifying status for participation in the December World Championships in Budapest.
