In the new edition of the neutral status rules of the International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics), there are no restrictions on the participation of Russian athletes in relay races and candidacies for a distance.
The new edition of the regulations is dated November 18.
Previously, the document stated that Russians could only be declared neutral one person per distance.
In addition, in the new version of the regulations, there is no longer a ban on participation in team events of the program, in the case of swimming these are relay races, in the case of diving – diving synchronized, as well as duets and groups in synchronized swimming.
