European Champion Ilya Borodin won the 200 meter medley at the Russian Short Course Championships in St. Petersburg.
In the final, he clocked 1 minute and 52.75 seconds. Alexey Sudarev finished second (1:53.50), Eduard Valiakhmetov third (1:54.80).
The St. Petersburg-1 team (Egor Kornev, Daniil Kosenkov, Alexey Pavlov, Alexander Shchegolev) won the 4×100 meter freestyle relay (time: 3:08.07). In a similar discipline among women, the St. Petersburg-1 team won gold (Alexandra Kurilkina, Yana Shakirova, Daria Surushkina, Alexandra Kuznetsova, 3:34.31).
The Russian Short Course Swimming Championship will take place in St. Petersburg from November 21 to 26.
