Figure skaters Kira Domozhirova and Ilya Vegera, who took second place at the Russian Junior Grand Prix stage in St. Petersburg, said they were more confident than at the previous start in Kazan.

Domozhirova and Vegera took second place in pair skating with a score of 179.51 points. Sofia Diana Kasins and Alexander Bregey won (183.58), Olga Sabada and Pavel Astakhov won bronze (177.35).

“We are satisfied with the short program; this time we managed to show it properly. In the free program, again, not everything went well with the jumps, the rest was done to the maximum, “said Vegera, according to the correspondent.

— The bronze in Kazan gave new impetus. Have you ever started differently here?

Domozhirova: There was more confidence, less excitement than in Kazan.

Véguera: It was morally simpler.

— Have you heard the support from the public? Aren’t the screams before performances confusing?

Véguera: I heard it, but I didn’t pay attention to it.

– Is there satisfaction?

Véguera: Unfortunately we didn’t manage to qualify for the team tournament, we’re not happy about that.

Véguera: There is a good atmosphere in the group.

Véguera: We will have a start in Perm and a Russian championship.
