Triple Olympic medalist Yulia Efimova and European champion Evgenia Chikunova reached the final of the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship at a distance of 50 meters breaststroke.
Efimova qualified for the final with the second result (30.18 seconds), Chikunova with the third (30.20). The best in the semi-finals was Ralina Gilyazova (30.05).
In the men’s 100 meter backstroke, Olympic medalists Kliment Kolesnikov (51.04) and Miron Lifintsev (49.42, best time) qualified for the final.
The Russian Short Course Swimming Championship will take place in St. Petersburg from November 21 to 26.
