Tarasova on relaxing World Aquatics requirements: “Common sense is present”

In the new edition of the world swimming rules on neutral status, there are no clauses limiting applications of Russians for distances to international starts, there are no restrictions on participation in team events of the program ( in the case of swimming, we are talking about relay races), and there are also no restrictions on compliance with the standard exclusively outside of Russia and Belarus.

— Common sense is present. Naturally, after such an example, other federations will pay attention to it. But we must work and not look there. We must prepare our athletes for the sake of their profession, the coaches they spend their entire lives with, and their training.
