Boniface will miss the rest of the year due to a torn thigh muscle.

Bayer’s forward was injured in the match for the Nigerian national team

Attack Bayera Victor Boniface will not play until the end of the year due to a hip injury.

The forward was injured in the match for the Nigeria national team against Rwanda (1:2). It is reported that the player was diagnosed with a ruptured thigh muscle fiber.

Let us remind you that in October Boniface was involved in an accident. The car, in which a Nigerian football player was in the passenger seat, slid into the adjacent lane, collided with a truck and overturned. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. Victor escaped injury other than a minor injury to his arm.

Boniface has made 15 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in all competitions this season. The 23-year-old forward has eight goals and one assist.

Bayer are fourth in the Bundesliga with 17 points. In the next round, Leverkusen will host Heidenheim on November 23.
