Former Kazan volleyball player “Zenith” Khripun cheated on a girl from Lithuania for the amount of about 3 million rubles

The girl transferred more than 3 million rubles to fraudulent volleyball player Alexander Khripun, Baza Telegram Channel Reports .

Last spring, the girl’s social media account was hacked, in which she corresponded with her boyfriend and sent him a nude photo. Soon, the former Kazan volleyball player “Zenith” Khripun wrote to the owner of the account. Pretending to be the administrator of a site where her photos are sent without her knowledge, Khripun offered the girl to remove the photos for a sum of 200 euros. She accepted this offer.

Soon, Khripun again asked to make a money transfer, which was supposed to cover the commission. The victim agreed a second time. Khripun began to demand new sums of money, but promised to refund the overpayment after the transactions were approved by the “manager” of his site. The girl continued to transfer money. For three and a half months, she sent Khripun a total of 53,000 euros (3.1 million rubles).

Having suffered serious losses, the girl demanded to return everything, then realized that she had been scammed. The victim lives in Lithuania, but the police of this state refused to accept the request, because Khripun is in Russia.

The former sportsman has already been engaged in similar illegal actions, having received about 45 million rubles from the victims. Now he is detained, for extortion he faces 7 to 15 years in prison.
