Georgian figure skater Anastasia Gubanova took eighth place in women’s single skating at the ISU Grand Prix stage in Chongqing (China).
Based on the results of short and free programs, Gubanova, who previously represented Russia, scored 177.34 points.
The American Amber Glenn won (215.54), the Japanese Mone Chiba (211.91) finished second, and the leading trio was completed by the representative of South Korea, Kim Chae-yong (208.47 ).
Gubanova is from Tolyatti, she started competing under the flag of Georgia in 2021 and in 2023 she became European champion.
