Yaroslav Lavrenyuk became 22nd with a new personal best
Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladislav Geraskevich took eighth place at the stage World Cup 2024/25 in Yanqing, China. Another Ukrainian Yaroslav Lavrenyukbecame 22nd.
Geraskevich showed a time of 2:02.95 seconds based on the sum of two runs. Vladislav was 1.02 seconds behind the winner Christopher Grotcher from Germany. Eighth place is a repeat of the best result of the season for the Ukrainian, which he showed at the first stage in Pyeongchang, Korea.
Lavrenyuk ended up 3.12 seconds behind the winner. The 17-year-old athlete, finishing 22nd, set a new personal best at the World Cup level.
The next stage of KM-2024/25 in skeleton will be held in Altenberg, Germany on December 6.
