Dynamo won a home victory over Chernomorets (3:1) in the match of the 14th round of the UPL
Defender Dynamo Alexander Karavaev commented on the home victory over Chernomorets (3:1) in the 14th round UPL.
“All games are difficult for us. Today we played a little differently, we had to get used to it, plus it started to get cold. We need to adapt. But they did everything they told us. Somewhere it worked, somewhere it didn’t. We had a lot of chances, but unfortunately our execution let us down. And this is a big problem that needs to be solved.”
“We understood that they would look for opportunities on counterattacks. Therefore, we could not make mistakes or quickly win the ball, so as not to allow them to play on the counter-attack.”
“My moments today? Yes, indeed, there were at least three moments. But this happened… When I entered the field in the game against Shakhtar, I managed to score in just three minutes, but now I played from the first minutes, had many chances – and failed. This is football, that’s why it’s interesting. I will draw conclusions so that I can capitalize on chances in the next matches.”
Alexander Karavaev played 10 matches in all tournaments this season, scoring three goals and one assist.
Dynamo scored 35 points and single-handedly leads the UPL standings. The Kiev team will play their next match on November 28 in the Europa League against Victoria Pilsen. In the Ukrainian Championship, Shovkovsky’s team will play on December 1 against Kolos.
