Blue-and-yellows win gold in free skate
Team of Ukraine won the eighth gold medal in European Championship 2022 in water sports, which takes place in Rome.
Blue and yellow had no equal in synchronized swimming in a free program. Ukrainians completed the discipline with a score of 95.1 points.
The winners included Marta Fedina, Marina and Vladislava Alekseev, Olesya Derevyanchenko, Veronika Grishko, Angelina Ovchinnikova, Anastasia Shmonina and Valeria Tishchenko.
Recall that the Ukrainian team won the highest awards in the technical program, combination and highlight. Earlier, Marina and Vladislava Alekseev became European champions in the free and technical duet program.
Marta Fedina won two gold medals in individual competitions, winning in free and technical solo. Another silver went to divers (team mixed).
The European Championship takes place in Rome from 11 to 21 August. Competitions in artistic swimming will be held from 11 to 15 August.
