The composition has become known Ukrainian women’s team for the first stage Biathlon World Cup 2024/25which will take place in Finnish Kontiolahti.
The application included six athletes. Irina Petrenko, who continues to recover from a broken leg, did not receive the call – her absence was known in advance. Compared to the last stage of last season, the team included Elena Gorodnaya and Alexandra Merkushina.

The starting stage of the 2024/25 KM biathlon will be held in Kontiolahti from November 30 to December 8. On the first day of the competition there will be a mixed and single mixed relay. Also at the first stage there will be a classic relay race, a short individual race, a sprint and a mass start.
