Victoria Mashkina won the 100m medley at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships.
In the final, Mashkina achieved a result of 59.65 seconds. Second was Yana Shakirova (59.74), third was Irina Zvyagintseva (59.80). Triple Olympic medalist Yulia Efimova became fifth (1.01.02).
Arina Surkova became first in 50m butterfly (25.07), second – Daria Tatarinova (25.66), third – Maria Osetrova (25.80).
In the men’s 4×50 meter freestyle relay, victory with a score of 1 minute 25.68 seconds was won by the first team from St. Petersburg consisting of Roman Shevlyakov, Kirill Prigoda, Daniil Kosenkov and Alexander Shchegolev. Second place went to the Krasnoyarsk Territory (Stepan Mikhailichenko, Nikita Grigoriev, Yuri Bibikov and Kirill Vasilovsky; 1:26.77), third place went to Moscow-1 (Vladislav Grinev, Maxim Anishchenko, Andrey Zhilkin and Alexander Nazarchuk , 1:27.06).
The tournament in St. Petersburg will end on November 26.
