The Ukrainian national team is at the final stage of preparation for Euro 2024
Ukrainian women’s handball team played her second match as part of the friendly “tournament of three” in Hungary — she lost to the host of the competition with a score of 19:38.
Boris Chizhov’s team lost the first half with a score of 9:23. The game advantage of the Hungarian handball players continued after the break, resulting in a two-fold difference in the score.
The most productive players in the Ukrainian team were point guard Tamara Smbatyan and lineman Liliya Gorilskaya, who scored four goals each.

This friendly tournament in Hungary is the final stage of preparation for the Ukrainian women’s team for handball Euro 2024. In its group stage, the blue-yellows will face Germany (November 29), Iceland (December 1) and the Netherlands (December 3).
