Toronto beat Utah at home in the NHL

On the next game day, one match took place in the league

Toronto beat Utah in the only match of the next game day in National Hockey League (NHL) – 3:2.

The visitors opened the scoring late in the first period, with Logan Cooley converting the power play. Toronto responded with three goals in the second 20 minutes. Mitch Marner scored a double, and William Nylander caught the visitors’ mistake and scored after a solo counterattack.

Utah was able to reduce the gap early in the third period, Jack McBain scored. Next, the teams fired at each other’s goal posts several times, and Nylander scored into an empty net, but did so a second after the final siren.

Toronto is in third place in the NHL’s Eastern Conference. Utah is 12th in the Western Conference.
