Olympic champion Mikhailov and other Russians join the commissions of the International Volleyball Federation

Representatives of Russia have joined the commissions of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), reports the press service of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VFV).

At the FIVB Congress in November, held in Porto, Portugal, a new administrative council was formed. Council members approved the structure of the commissions, which included representatives from Russia.

Lokomotiv Novosibirsk general director Roman Stanislavov has joined the volleyball board. Pavel Gidulyan, advisor to the FMW president for international relations, became a member of the communications commission.

The Beach Volleyball Council was reconstituted by VFW Deputy Director Anna Gladkova. Olympic champion from Zenit Kazan, Maxim Mikhailov, joined the heritage commission.

Russian volleyball clubs and national teams have been suspended from all international competitions since March 2022.
