Swimmer Ilya Borodin with the best result of the season in the world, he won the Russian short course championship over a distance of 400 meters medley.
In the final, Borodin covered the distance in 3 minutes 57.67 seconds. His result surpassed the time of four-time Olympic champion Léon Marchand of France, which he showed in October at the World Cup – 3 minutes 58.30 seconds.
The tournament in St. Petersburg will end on November 26.
