The blue-yellows will play two matches in December: against Cyprus and Romania. The double games with Germany will take place in January and February 2025.

The matches of the main qualifying round will last until April 16, 2025. Alexander Kosenko called 15 players to the first training camp.

Kosenko’s team dramatically lost to Brazil, but defeated France (7:1) in the match for third place and won bronze medals at the world championship. The Brazilians beat Argentina in the final and became world champions.
Two Ukrainian football players became winners of individual nominations. Daniil Abakshin received the “silver boot” of the tournament, and Rostislav Semenchenko became the third best player of the tournament, receiving the “bronze ball”.
