European rowing champion disqualified for one year for doping

The commission of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency decided to disqualify athlete Alevtina Yaganova for 1 year for violation of anti-doping rules, the RUSADA press service reports.

The period of disqualification runs from the date of the decision, i.e. October 21, 2024.

Yaganova (née Savkina) practices rowing and competes in rowing competitions. She is a bronze medalist at the World Championship (2017), European champion (2015), three-time silver and two-time bronze medalist at the European Championship and multiple Russian champion.
