The Ukrainian boxer predicted how the second fight between the rivals could turn out.
Former welterweight title challenger Karen Chukhadzhyan shared her thoughts on the rematch between WBC, WBA and WBO heavyweight belt holder Alexander Usik and ex-champion Tyson Fury.
According to the Ukrainian boxer, to hope for success in a repeated fight, the Briton must approach it seriously and concentrated.
“Fury needs to not act like he did in the first fight. To me, he put effort into clowning. After all, when he got serious about business, he had very cool episodes. He worked well on Ang body. In some ways At this moment it seems to me that he has taken the initiative, I think he needs to take boxing more seriously.
I don’t think Alexander will work up close. Because Tyson has a huge weight advantage. And even light blows can be felt. Therefore, most likely, the battle is far away. But because of his long arms, Fury works well from a distance. And he’s also quite fast, for such a big boar,” Chukhadzhyan said in a commentary on vRINGe.
The rematch between Usik and Fury will take place on December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. In May of this year, in the fight for the title of absolute champion, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by split decision.
Fury had previously warned Usyk before the rematch.
