The manager of the American blogger had to make a statement in response to the criticism.

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), which produced the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight, responded to allegations that the fight was staged despite being sanctioned as a professional fight.

Blogger manager and MVP co-founder Nakis Bidarian issued a statement responding to the criticism, as cheating in a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States.

“This is not the first time that Jake Paul has faced unfounded doubts and outright distrust as a professional athlete, in fact, the claim that his fight was rigged is only a compliment to him .

From day one, people doubted Jake Paul’s boxing ability. People don’t understand how someone with that background can reach such a high level in such a short period of time. Jake not only proved what he was capable of, but also repeatedly set historical records.

His latest show broke all attendance and viewership records for a professional sporting event. As long as Jake exceeds expectations, there will always be those who try to discredit his accomplishments. We welcome the arguments of doubters. They just push Jake to work harder and achieve greater results,” Boxing News 24 quotes Bidarian as saying.

Earlier, Saul Alvarez weighed in on the possibility of a fight with Jake Paul, stating the condition.
