Chukhadzhyan: Let’s see what Madrimov can counter against the wild pressure from Bogachuk

The fight between Bogachuk and Madrimov will take place on December 21 in Riyadh

Ukrainian welterweight boxer Karen Chukhadzhyan (24-3, 13 KOs) commented on the upcoming fight of his compatriot Sergei Bogachuk (24-2, 23 KO) with an Uzbek boxer Israil Madrimov (10-0-2, 7 KOs).

“My opinion is that Sergey has a good chance against Madrimov. He’s like a locomotive. He can also “wave” Madrimov. But overall, stylistically this is a very interesting fight. I’m really looking forward to this fight. I give preference to Sergei. It seems to me that Sergei has a slightly better chance. Simply due to his pressure. We still have to see how Madrimov will react to this pressure.”

If you look at it this way, Sergei’s boxing seems understandable. But still, few can oppose anything to this. Let’s see if Madrimov has something that he could counter against this wild pressure from Sergei.”

The Bogachuk – Madrimov fight will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, on the undercard of the rematch between WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC heavyweight world champion Alexander Usik and former WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury.

Bogachuk lost to Virgil Ortiz by split decision in his last fight. In the first and eighth rounds, Bogachuk knocked down his opponent. However, after 12 rounds, one judge recorded a draw, the other two gave preference to Ortiz.

Madrimov also lost his last fight. In August, the Uzbek fighter lost to Terence Crawford in the fight for the interim WBO junior middleweight title. Israil also lost his WBA belt, won in March in a fight with Magomet Kubranov.
