Lampard has officially become Coventry City head coach

The contract was signed for 2.5 years

Frank Lampard officially became head coach Coventry City.

The term of the agreement is 2.5 years. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed. Let us recall that in early November the Coventry City club fired Mark Robins for unsatisfactory results.

46-year-old Lampard, after retiring as a player, led Derby (2019 Championship play-off final, lost to Aston Villa), Chelsea (4th place in the Premier League, Cup final), Everton (saved from relegation from the 2021/22 Premier League) and Chelsea again (acting at the end of the 2022/23 season).

Coventry are in 17th place in the Championship after 17 rounds, only one point ahead of the relegation zone. The Sky Blues next host Cardiff on November 30th.
