Manchester United beat Bude-Glimt at home in a high-scoring Europa League match

The first victory of the Red Devils under the leadership of Amorim happened thanks to Hoylund’s double

Manchester United in a productive match of the 5th round Europa League managed to beat on home field Bude-Glimt – 3:2.

The hosts, who were playing their second official match after Ruben Amorim took over as coach, took the lead in the first minute – Alejandro Garnacho scored from Rasmus Hoylund.

The underdog stunned the Red Devils midway through the first half with a double strike – Hakon Evjen and Philip Zinkernagel scored in Andre Onan’s goal.

The hero of the evening for red Manchester was the aforementioned Hoylund. He added two goals to his assist: one into the dressing room, the other shortly after the break.

Despite a considerable advantage in possession and an impressive number of strikes, Manchester United was unable to bury the intrigue until the end of the match. However, Amorim managed to win his first victory at the head of the new club.

United, with 9 points, moves into the top 12 of the overall standings. The Norwegian team with 7 points retains its place in the playoff zone. The next round will take place on December 12: Manchester United will visit Victoria Plzen, who just offended Dynamo in Hamburg, and Bude-Glimt will host Besiktas.
