Johaug finished second in the 10km at the first World Cup stage after resuming his career

Norwegian four-time Olympic champion Teresa Johaug won silver in the 10 km classic style race at the first stage of the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in Ruka, Finland.

The victory was won by Swede Frida Karlsson – 25 minutes 16.2 seconds. Johaug finished second, 46.5 seconds behind. The leading trio was closed by the Norwegian Astrid-Oire Slind (+54.0).
