The head of the boxing organization wants to see another big fight.

World Boxing Council (WBC) President Mauricio Sulaiman spoke about a potential opponent to win the rematch between WBA, WBA and WBO heavyweight title holder Alexander Usyk and former champion Tyson Fury.

According to him, a Ukrainian or British should arrange the unification fight with IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois for the title of absolute champion of the division.

“We are not promoters, so we cannot organize fights. But we, as the WBC, are very supportive of unification fights and undisputed champions.

I really want to see Dubois fight the winner of the Usyk-Fury rematch. Without a doubt, this match will be amazing,” Suleiman was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

We remind you that the rematch between Usik and Fury will take place on December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. In May of this year, in the fight for the title of absolute champion, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by split decision.

In the past, Fury has spoken about what it will take to beat Usik.
