Figure skater Maya Khromykh said she experiences strong emotions while working as a coach.

Earlier, coach Daniil Gleikhengauz said that Khromykh was taking a break from his career due to health problems.

Khromykh performed in the show which took place as part of the inauguration of the VDNKh ice rink on November 29.

“I feel incredible emotions when I see the success among the guys and the kids. A new facet of figure skating opened up to me. We haven’t brought anyone to the competition yet, we’re still working. What kind of coach am I? I don’t know, I try to be demanding and not go too far. In Khrustalny I train children, and at the Eteri Tutberidze Figure Skating Center I train adults, a group over 18 years old. In the future, I would also like to be a coach.

I probably have more fun on the show. Still, you don’t need to get grades, you don’t need to do super complex elements, it’s just fun,” Khromykh told .

Khromykh is a two-time winner of the stages of the international Grand Prix series.
