In Finnish Kontiolahti, a mixed relay took place in the first stage of the competition.
On Saturday, November 30, the new season of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup began in Kontiolahti, Finland.
The starting race of the first stage of the competition was a single mixed relay, in which representatives of Ukraine also took part.
The Ukrainian team competed with Elena Gorodnoy and Artem Tishchenko. During the shooting, the Ukrainians used five additional rounds, and at the end they lost 1:23.4 to the leader, finishing the race in ninth position.

The winners of the single mixed relay race were representatives of Sweden. The French took second place, and the Germans completed the top three.
