As part of the first stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland, a mixed relay race took place.
Our team includes Kristina Dmitrenko, Yulia Jima, Anton Dudchenko and Vitaly Mandzin.
Dmitrenko started from the tenth position, finished his segment in 19 minutes and moved up one step compared to the start.
Jima managed to improve the result of his less experienced colleague, raising the Ukrainian team to 7th place.
Anton Dudchenko also helped our team rise, and passed the baton to Vitaly Mandzin when Ukraine was sixth.
Mandzin retained the sixth position. As a result, Ukraine lagged behind the winners, the Norwegian team, by more than 3 minutes.
