In the women’s single sleigh, Tunitskaya became 20th, Stetskiv and Smaga took places in the third ten
Three representatives Ukraine managed to get into top 20 of their races in the first stage Luge World Cup 2024/25which started in Norway Lillehammer.
In the men’s single sleigh start Anton Dukach showed the 14th result in the sum of two attempts, losing to the winner – German Max Langenhan – a little less than a second. Andrey Mandziy took the final 20th place.
Mandziyu achieved a similar result – 20th position – in the women’s singles start Yulianna Tunitskaya. Two of her compatriots, Elena Stetskiv And Elena Smagatook 26th and 29th places, respectively.
In addition, on the first day of the stage, races in pairs also took place. Stetskiv paired with Alexandra Mokh showed the 8th result. Among men, Igor Goy and Nazariy Kachmar finished their performances in 16th place in the standings.
