Current champion Ding Liren and Indian grandmaster Gukesh Dommaraju tied in the sixth game for the title world chess champion.

This time the Chinese chess player received white pieces. The grandmasters played the London system. Dean, according to computer estimates, had a positional advantage, but was unable to realize it. After 46 moves, the grandmasters shook hands.

The score in the championship match is equal – 3:3. Earlier, Dean and Gukesh achieved one victory each, three more games ended in a draw. On Monday there is a rest day at the tournament, the seventh game will take place on December 3.

Dean defends the world title he won in 2023. Gukesh won the Candidates Tournament on his way to the final match.

The world title match is taking place in Singapore. The rules of the match are designed for 14 games and, if necessary, a tie-breaker will be played. The winner will be the grandmaster who first scores 7.5 points.
