In the near future, Igor may become the head coach of the Ukrainian gymnastics team
Ukrainian gymnast Igor Radivilov announced his retirement. The 32-year-old athlete spoke about this at the end of a club gymnastics match in Germany, where the Ukrainian represents the Cottbus sports club.
Igor has many international victories and awards under his belt. In particular, a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics in London, as well as four medals of various denominations at the world championships.
In May 2022, Radivilov announced that he was forced to leave Ukraine in order to fully continue preparations for the World and European Championships. He moved to Cottbus, where he has performed to this day.
The last big tournament for the Ukrainian athlete was the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. There, Igor was unable to compete for medals, taking 8th place in the vault.
According to information TribuneRadivilov’s candidacy was proposed today for the position of head coach of the Ukrainian gymnastics team.
