Ovcharenko became the first racket of Ukraine, Ursu dropped another 18 positions in the ATP ranking

Alexander Ovcharenko rose to 19 places, which helped him get ahead of Oleg Prikhodko

Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) published a new ranking of the best players in the world.

The new first racket of Ukraine became Alexander Ovcharenko (No. 313), which has risen by 19 positions in the ranking over the past week. Oleg Prikhodko (No. 316) was in the status of the country’s first racket for only one week – he added one line to the ranking, but this was not enough compared to Ovcharenko’s progress.

Continue to remain in the third hundred of the rankings Vitaly Sachko (No. 391), which lost four positions, and Vadim Ursu (No. 399), which in the previous edition of the rating dropped down 37 lines, and in this edition – 18.

There are no representatives of Ukraine in the fourth hundred of the ranking, but in the fifth, five players immediately lost their positions. Yuri Dzhavakyan (No. 504) lost two lines, Eric Vanshelboim (No. 532) – seven at once. Ilya Marchenko (No. 539) moved down two positions, as did Vyacheslav Belinsky (No. 542). Alexey Krutykh (No. 573) worsened his stay in the ranking by 16 positions.

There were no changes in the top ten of the world rankings. Italian Jannik Sinner remains number one in the world.
