La Vuelta 2025 will start in Turin, the first three stages will be held in Italy

For the sixth time in history, the Spanish Grand Tour will begin outside of Spain

Vuelta a España in 2025 will begin in Turin August 23. The first three stages of the Spanish Grand Tour will take place in Italy.

The organizers presented a profile of the starting stages of the multi-day cycling race. The first will start in the Turin suburb of Regia di Venaria and will go to Novara. The second stage will end with the final climb of the second category, where the first clash of candidates for the overall classification will take place. The third will take place between the cities of San Maurizio Canavese and Ceres.

La Vuelta will begin outside of Spain for the sixth time in its history. Previously, the start of the multi-day race was hosted by Lisbon (in 1997 and 2024), Assen (2009), Nimes (2017) and Utrecht (2022). Note that in 2026 La Vuelta will begin in Monaco.

Vuelta a España 2025 will be the 90th in its history. Let us remind you that the winner of the overall standings of the Spanish Grand Tour in 2024 was the Slovenian Primoz Roglic.
