The six gold medals contested at the European Athletics Championships on August 17 were won by representatives of different countries

Six gold medals were contested at the European Athletics Championships in Munich on August 17, all the main awards were given to representatives of different countries.

Portuguese athlete Pedro Pichardo won the triple jump competition. He showed the result – 17 meters 50 centimeters.

Briton Matt Hudson-Smith won the 400m with a time of 44.53 seconds.

Dutch Femke Bol won gold in the 400 meters (49.44 seconds). Romanian Bianca Gelber won the hammer throw competition with a score of 72 meters 72 centimeters. The gold medal in the women’s pole vault went to Finland’s Vilma Murto (4 meters 85 centimeters).

Spaniard Alier Martinez won the 110m hurdles with a photo-finish in 13.137 seconds.

The contest will end on August 21.
