Mbappe appealed to the LFP Disciplinary Committee due to PSG’s failure to pay part of his salary and bonuses

The disciplinary committee will consider the case on December 11

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe appealed to the Disciplinary Committee of the French Professional Football League (LFP) regarding non-payment by his former club PSG parts of salary and bonuses.

Let us remind you that the forward has been demanding that the Parisians pay him 55 million euros for several months. We are talking about the forward’s salary for the last three months of his contract, as well as bonuses. Regarding this, Mbappe contacted the LFP and UEFA back in August.

PSG insisted that they were right, citing a verbal “gentleman’s agreement” with Kylian, which was concluded back in January, according to which the club should not suffer financial losses if the superstar left as a free agent (which ultimately happened). The player’s side stated that the agreement was violated by the Parisians, and Kylian has the right to demand payment.

The LFP’s legal committee backed Kilian’s claims in September. The player’s side was also supported by the Appeal Committee on October 25. PSG refused to pay the forward the required amount. It was reported that the club, if Mbappe is proven right, could face sanctions including a transfer ban and exclusion from European competition.

Mbappe has been a Paris Saint-Germain player for the past six years, joining from Monaco. At the end of the club season, the player received free agent status. In July, Mbappe signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid.

PSG leads Ligue 1, seven points ahead of their nearest rival. In the next match, the Parisians will play against Auxerre on December 6.
