The Briton will radically change his plan for fighting the Ukrainian.
Former world champion Tyson Fury will fight his second fight against Alexander Usik.
The respected journalist Gareth Davis, in an interview with talkSPORT Boxing, spoke about the preparation of the Briton for revenge.
Tyson plans to enter the ring weighing 273 pounds (123 kg).
“When Tyson beat Klitschko, he was 27 years old then, light on his feet.
That version lost three fights to Deontay Wyler, where he was the stronger fighter at 19 and a half stone. His camp told me this is how they want him to fight Usyk – weighing 19 and a half stone (273 pounds or 123.8 kg – approx.).”
The rematch between Usik and Fury will take place on December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. In May of this year, in the battle for the title of absolute champion, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by split decision.
Earlier, the coach spoke about Fury’s weight in the rematch with Usik.
