On Tuesday, December 3, a qualifying match for the main stage of the Major took place between Passion UA, owned by Alexander Zinchenko, and Wildcard.
The first map, Inferno, was selected from a European team. It ended in a huge victory for the Wildcard – 13:6.
Then the teams played in Mirage, where the Ukrainians were better – 13:6.
The ancient became a dissider. Passion UA was the best in the first half, playing in defense – 7:5, but then the Wildcard turned on. The winner was determined in overtime, and it was Wildcard – 16:13.
The Ukrainian team, which reached this stage for the first time, completed its participation in the tournament. The team took 17-19th place, receiving $10 thousand in prize money.
Wildcard – Passion UA 2:1 (13:6, 6:13, 16:13)
Let’s remember that before this, Zinchenko’s team did not defeat the team with a Russian sponsor in the qualifying match for the main stage of the Major.
