The British boxer made sure that he did not hate his opponent after the defeat.
Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, ahead of his rematch with WBC, WBA and WBO title holder Alexander Usik, said he does not regret his comments that his opponent was given victory in the first fight because of the war in Ukraine.
According to the British boxer, this is only his opinion, which is not important, and in general he thanks the Ukrainian opponent for the fight.

“I have no regrets?
I believe I won the fight, but that’s just my opinion. Just like your opinion, his is his opinion, everyone has their own opinion. But he raised his hand and I congratulated him. All this can be seen on TV. I kissed his cross and thanked him profusely. Now we have one more fight, that’s all.
No hate, I don’t hate Usyk. He was a good man, a God-fearing Christian, a family man. Why do I hate him? He helped me make millions of dollars – I love him. Do you know what I mean? He’s a boxer, I’m a boxer too. And we had a great fight,” Fury said in an interview with DAZN Boxing.
The rematch between Usik and Fury will take place on December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. In May of this year, in the battle for the title of absolute champion, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by split decision.
Earlier, an insider named Fury’s weight for the rematch with Usik.
