Belgian, double Olympic cycling champion Remco Evenepoel suffered fractures to a rib, shoulder blade and arm following a collision with a car during training, according to the Soudal Quick-Step team website.

The incident occurred on Tuesday. According to media reports, a 24-year-old cyclist collided with a postal vehicle. Evenepoel was taken to Anderlecht hospital.
