Britain’s Jack Lo won gold in the diving springboard at the European Swimming Championships in Rome.
Law based on six attempts showed a result of 413.40 points. Silver and bronze went to Italians Lorenzo Marsaglia (396.25 points) and Giovanni Tocci (386.20) respectively.
In the women’s synchronized 3m springboard, Germany’s Lena Hentschel and Tina Punzel (281.16) won. Second place was taken by Italy’s Elena Bertocchi and Chiara Pellacani (260.76), with the top three winners being Emilia Nilsson Garip and Elna Widerström of Sweden (257.70).
For Lo, 27, this is the fourth gold medal of the European championships, he is also Olympic champion in synchronized diving on a three-meter springboard.
