Athlete Lysenko won the second consecutive Russian tournament after disqualification

Silver Medal of the High Jump World Championships Danil Lyssenko won first place at the Kutz Memorial in Moscow.

The competitions were held at the Znamensky Brothers Olympic Center. Lyssenko took the height of 2.34m on the second attempt.

The athlete was disqualified in the summer of 2018 for missing three doping controls. His suspension expired in early August. On August 13, the 25-year-old athlete took first place in the Cup of the Sverdlovsk region, posting a result of 2.31 m.

Second place in the Moscow tournament was taken by Nikita Kurbanov (2.15), the top three were closed by Sergey Morozov (2.10).

Lyssenko is the 2017 World Championships silver medalist, the 2018 World Indoor Champion.
