Miners for the first time since the beginning of a full-scale war held a training session in Ukraine. The team will continue to train all subsequent days until the opening match of the championship.
Recall that Zubkov signed a five-year contract with Shakhtar. The 25-year-old winger is a graduate of the Pitmen. In 2019, Ferencváros rented him from Shakhtar, and a year later, Alexander became a full-fledged player in the Hungarian club.
Last season, Zubkov played in 34 Ferencváros matches, scoring three goals and providing seven assists. The Ukrainian helped the club win the championship and the Hungarian Cup.
The new draw of the Ukrainian Championship starts on August 23 with the match between Shakhtar and Metalist 1925. The match will be played in Kyiv, starting at 13:00.
