Athletistic/ Figure Skating. On Thursday, August 18, the test skates of the Russian junior figure skating team began in Novogorsk.
Among the girls, one of the brightest performances was Veronika Zhilina, representing the Evgeni Plushenko Academy. During the rental, the 14-year-old athlete, winner of last year’s Junior Grand Prix in Kosishte, performed a short program to the song Je t’aime by Lara Fabian.
Recall that, based on the results of the test skates, the training commission reports the errors of the skaters and gives technical recommendations. Trial skate ratings are not provided.
