Quadruple world champion in synchronized swimming Alexander Maltsev explained to RT why he prefers to share his experience with male athletes.
“I’m very interested in them. For the guys, I can be a great motivator, a role model. They should feel supported, so I pay more attention to men’s and mixed synchronized swimming,” Maltsev said.
Maltsev is quadruple world champion, six-time European champion. At the 2022 Russian Championship, Maltsev, together with Olesya Platonova, became the best in the competition in mixed duets, in duets with Maya Gurbanberdieva wins the technical program.
