Sports Director of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (VFLA) Yuri Borzakovsky believes that athletes like the Jamaican Usain Bolt are born once every 100 to 200 years.
– In my opinion, he simply has all the qualities a sprinter should have. He is a great athlete, and not every guy in such a warehouse has such crazy speed qualities. That is, he accelerates for a long time and then, due to the frequency and power of his step, he leaves everyone at the finish line. It’s good. These people can be born once every 100 to 200 years, Borzakovsky RT said.
Bolt, 35, is an eight-time Olympic and 11-time world champion and has set eight world records. Bolt currently holds world records in the 100 meters (9.58 seconds), 200 meters (19.19 seconds) and 4×100 meters relay with the Jamaican national team (36.84 seconds).
